Founding architect of the Internet, ICANN Board Member & Angel Investor. Want to meet the man?

 

 

Dr.Dennis Jennings the man described as "a founding architect of the Internet" is Coming to University College Dublin on Thursday the 19th of November to present "The Internet Past, Present & Future," hosted by UCD computer science group UCD Netsoc.

 

 

Dennis Jennings, who is an ICANN board member and Irish Angel Investor, was responsible for the decisions that created NSFNET (1985/86) - the network that became the Internet - while working for the US Federal Government (on leave from UCD). He will be giving a guest talk on "NSFNET - The US Federal network that evolved into the Internet.

 

 

Google Ireland's Niall Murphy, one of the founders of UCD Netsoc, will also provide an expert presentation on IPv6 .
