Overview

The theme of the event is “Success stories in software development productivity” and is particularly suitable for managers and senior IT professionals who have responsibility for developing and deploying software solutions.

In the current economic conditions IT solutions that deliver real business value in an efficient and cost-effective manner are vital. This puts the twin objectives of reducing costs and time-to-deployment of software solutions into sharp focus. As a result, the productivity of solution development teams is paramount.

I think you will find the practitioners from the private sector (AIB) and from the public sector describing their real-life experience of the business issues they addressed and benefits achieved through adoption of next generation software development productivity tools in particular Application Lifecycle Management (ALM) of interest.

This event will conclude with an interactive discussion which will provide an opportunity to discuss the points raised with the panel and with other members of the audience.

At the end of the briefing you should have a better understanding of how you can address the software development lifecycle challenges that most organisations face in the current budget constrained environment.
